A very good friend and excellent artist told me recently that for artists the meaning of abstract paintings lies in the history of the layers of the painting. This is absolutely true for this painting that probably received at least 20 layers over just a week. Dance started as a very light misty morning full of beautiful pastel colours. But it had a will of its own and quickly became sunlight through darkening clouds and on and on...colours changed, composition changed, emotions changed...just like life! With each layer, I told myself: it was nice; why did I change it? Finally, after several days, Dance of the Moon Beams started to swirl and swirl and finally stood still and I knew it was done...and I liked it. I hope you will like it too.
This painting is wired and varnished. Its edges are painted black. It is ready to enjoy right out of the box.
